Thanks for taking look at our 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Hotrod.
You won’t see many of these at your local cruise night or Cars and Coffee.  Ford produced the then, very rare Twilight Turquoise in just 3.6% of Mustangs.  Due to attrition, there are very few left that came from the factory this way. This Mustang looks mean and has potent powertrain to back up the look. The stance means business and the fat rubber and growl from the pipes begs to run.  This hot rod goes. And she’s ready to enjoy and cruise right now.
Exterior.Recent respray in “correct to this car” code Twilight Turquoise.  The paint reveals deep shine and high sheen. We find some minor flaws. Please check out the video. GT driving lamps.  Beautiful chrome and stainless all around.  Tasteful chrome accessories.  R style front valance.  Great glass and all new rubber weatherstrips.
InteriorNew Mustang steering wheel.  Newer gorgeous upholstery. Factory center console.  Newer carpet and headliner.  Nice dash pad, bezel, all instruments work.  New stock looking Retrosounds audio with USB. Tidy under the dash. New weatherstripping throughout. sets of seat belts.
Wheels TiresNew Magnum 500 wheels new with lugs and caps. Tires are new within months.
Brakes SuspensionThis Mustang sports wheel disc brakes. Four piston calipers up front, singles in the rear and an adjustable proportioning valve to custom tune your ride. Pads and rotors are excellent. The master cylinder and booster are current production. The suspension has been rebuilt with all fresh components. huge 1.75 front sway bar has been installed as well as full 1" rear sway bar.
EngineFor the "numbers guys", this is code car which denotes the original power option as the 200 inch 6. Today, hot 302 V8 is mated to the OEM rebuilt speed manual trans. It runs and drives awesome. See the video.  Will light the tires in first and second on command.  4160 Carb, Edelbrock performer manifold.  Exhaust via flowmaster with custom tips. New aluminum radiator, electric fan and coolant recovery tank.
TrunkClean trunk, no damage or repairs. Factory mat, spare tire and scissor jack.
ServiceFresh tune up, oil change, filter. New spark plugs and wires.
OdometerThe odometer shows  98,250 miles.
