Up for auction isa barn find 1965 Ford Mustang fastback which originally left the factory with a200hp 289 V8. We don’t know much aboutthe car’s history, but it’s obvious that someone has put lot of work into it,including front floor pan replacement. The originalquarter panels, roof and passenger’s door are in amazing condition with nodents or body filler. The rear glass is outstanding as well, with only somevery minor scratches. The Mustang’s only rust consists of small spot at thebottom of the left quarter bottom of driver’s door (see photos). There’s no engineor transmission in the car, but it does come with the optional styled steelwheels, fold down rear seat, front rear sway bars, plus lot ofmiscellaneous parts (see photos). Some new steering components have also beeninstalled. However, nothing is connected to the steering box. The title waslost long ago, so please be aware that the Mustang will be sold with bill ofsale only. 1965 was the first year forthe fastback Mustang, so most car guys will recognize that this car would bewell worth the effort to restore. It’s our hope that someone will putsome love into this classic…and make show piece out of it.
