It has a 327 with a 4 speed transmission and high and low rear end. The body of this truck is in amazing shape, with no rust to be found. It still holds the original red paint that is in nice shape. The truck still has the engine driven pump on the front and seems to be in working condition. The rear of the trunk is a tank, so I am guessing this was a pumper/tanker truck. The tires all hold air and are in good shape, but starting to show some weathering. They may be original. The front seat is in beautiful condition with no rips or tears. 1966 Chevy 60 Fire Truck Pumper 8100 Actual Miles Zero Rust Original 327 Cool
This is 1966 C60 Chevrolet Firetruck.  This truck has 8,100 actual miles, and is from the city of Bayard, Iowa, since new.  I drove this truck home hours straight and it drove very well.  The cab, doors and hood are the same as any 1964-66 C/K 10 or 20.  It has rare factory tach in the dash.  It has 327 with speed transmission and high and low rear end.  The body of this truck is in amazing shape, with no rust to be found.  It still holds the original red paint that is in nice shape.  This truck has power steering and believe it also has power brakes.The truck still has the engine driven pump on the front and seems to be in working condition.  The rear of the trunk is tank, so am guessing this was pumper/tanker truck.  The tires all hold air and are in good shape, but starting to show some weathering.  They may be original. The front seat is in beautiful condition with no rips or tears.  The dash has some extra holes cut for switches.  The roof has couple holes where the siren and lights were mounted.  The holes in the roof have been sealed with silicone. There are no lights or sirens with this truck, the fire department removed these prior to selling and kept them.  The cab, hood and interior of this truck are really nice.  I bought it to use the cab, doors and hood on my half ton project, but feel like its too nice (and rare) to cut up.This truck runs and drives and is in Bellevue Nebraska.   Will the exception of the weathered tires, believe it is road ready.  I have clean and clear title in my name.PleaseLook at all pictures and Email with any questions.
