ForSale 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2VIN: 6T09T22XXXXPurchased New: 9/15/1966, SellingDealership was: Stueve Ford, Miamisburg, OHBody 63A, Color F, Trim 22,Date 21C, DSO 22, Axle 3, Trans 1200 Sprint cylinder, speedmanual transmissionThe term “Barn Find” is overused now days, however this car was stored in garage for the past 25 years (ownerknew where it was, so it was not find) with very limited use.  Records show the first owner ownedthe car for 19 years and the second owner owned the car for 32 years. Thesecond owner verified the mileage as 62,621 original miles.  Some of the paper work included with the carwould tend to support that mileage. am selling the car as the third private owner.The car is complete and readyfor full mechanical and body restoration, or just update the mechanicals anddrive as is.  After 25 years of storageit would be wise to go through everything to make sure it’s safe.  The car would be beautiful restored back toits original condition or make into GT or GT 350.The “Light Blue” paint is over35 years old and pretty well used up. The Mustang has some rust in the usual areas, look close at the photos.  If you want to do full restoration then Isuggest the floor pans be replaced along with portion of the trunk. The black interior is originaland decent for 51 years old.  The full-lengthconsole looks good with the floor shifter and bucket seats.  No holes have been cut for aftermarket radioand speakers, it’s about as original as it gets. New bucket seat foam, bucketseat upholstery, and headliner are included, along with few other new andused small parts.In the trunk, you will find newgas tank, spare tire with original jack, tire tool, and tie down hook.  The floor mat looks fair.  spare wire wheel cover also goes with thecar.  The Sprint 200 6-cylinderengine starts and runs, it has some oil leaks and needs new exhaust manifoldgasket (gasket included) and could use new exhaust pipe and muffler.  The clutch needs adjustment or replacement,it chatters when pulling out.  The singlespeed wipers work and the headlights, taillights, and interior lights work.I encourage bidders toschedule visit to check this car over.  This 1966 Mustang 2+2 is being offered as-isand without any warranty.  This is not ashow car and my low reserve price reflects that.  Let me know via eBay if you want additionalphotos of particular areas or if you have questions.The successful Bidder willneed to make $750 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours after the bidcloses.  The remaining balance will bedue in cash, cashier’s check, or wire transfer prior to release of the car.Thanks for bidding on my 1966Mustang 2+2.
