V8 motor· Original barrel carburetor(finicky, but runs well when engine is warm)· After-market, Pertronix(electro-magnetic), ignition replaced points for much improved performance andreliability· Stock ignition coil· Motor rebuiltapproximately 50k miles ago· No smog equipment installed· Original cast iron exhaust manifolds· Radiator is three years old· Heater core is five years oldDriveline, suspension, wheels, andbrakes:· Original C-4 automatic(cruise-o-matic) transmission (leaks little when sitting for more than acouple days without running)· Original rear-end· Original drum brake system· Original power steering (power ramleaks little)· Upgraded 1-1/8” front sway bar formuch improved handling· After-market slotted aluminumwheels, 14”x7” with 205x60xR14 on front 225x60xR14 on rear (some tirerubbing occurs toward end of suspension travel)· Tires need to be replaced· Full spare tire on original rim intrunk with original emergency jack and lug wrench Interior Electrical:· Radio/audio head unit absent;enlarged dash cut-out due to previously installed after-market unit· Original dash speaker deterioratedand abandoned in place· After market speakers are installed (Blaupunktkick-panel speakers in front, pair of 6x9 in trunk boxes)· Backup light circuit has short inthe harness in the trunk· Dash pad has plastic cover that iscracked· Upholstery in good condition; notearing or cracking; carpet faded some· Original front and rear seat belts· Interior paint wear from retractableseat belts in the front· Defroster plenum needs to bereplaced (original cardboard part has deteriorated)· Windshield and rear window seals leak slightly when it rains
Body Paint:· Overall attractive exterior· Small dent on left front fender· Paint (dark emerald pearl colorapplied in 1998) looks good from 20 feet (see pics), but has numerous chips,scratches and blemishes· Front left fender and front valenceare an after-market replacement due to previous accident (occurred in 1995)· Body repairs (all prior to currentpaint) are also present at: o rear (minor dent due reversing intolamp post)o right-rear quarter panel (prior to1977)o hood· Both doors have some rust repair atthe bottom front (not obvious on driver side)· Driver side door was replaced withan original from donor car· Under-carriage has no major rustissues· Some rust-through on the radiatorsupport near the battery (not easily seen when hood is down)· Windshield trim pieces have somedenting due removal and installation damage
