1966 Mustang GT CoupeNightmist blue with blue standard interiorUp for bid is real 1966 Mustang GT Coupe with speed toploader manual transmission. This is real GT and have the original window sticker to prove it. Also have the original owner’s manual. have owned this car for approximately 23 years. Over those years it has had an extensive amount of time and money spent on it. The following items have been replaced with new parts:Fuel tank (clear coated to prevent rust)Stainless steel fuel linesFuel pickupStainless steel brake linesRear drum brakes completely rebuiltFront brake calipers (originals come with car)DriveshaftQuarter panels (NOS)Inner fender wellsFront fenders (not NOS)Floor pansSplash shieldsFront and rear stone guardsRadiator and hosesDual bowl master cylinder (also comes with new single bowl master cylinder)Baer proportioning valve (original Kelsey Hayes proportioning valve comes with the car)Edelbrock aluminum intake (original comes with car along with air cleaner housing)Holley barrel 750 cfm carb.RAM clutchNew carpet setNew headlinerNew door handles (inside and out)New vintage racing style mirrors for both sides.New window cranksNew dash bezel and glove box with new lightSeat have all been reupholstered in the original two tone blue with new seat foam (not pony interior)New seat tracksOriginal steering when has been redone in original colorNew dash pad and door panelsNew heater ventsNew GT emblems and stripesCustom throttle linkageAlternatorWeatherstripOil panHarmonic balancerFuel pumpFront suspension completely rebuilt from spindle to spindleNew shocks and leaf springsDoor hinges rebuiltNew front and rear bumpers and bracketsOriginal wire wheel spinner hubcapsNew front and rear stone guardsNumerous amounts of nuts and bolts that nickled and dimed me to deathI am sure am missing other items as well. If you don’t see something listed, please ask me. The original 289 (not Hi-Po) has been bored .30 over and rebuilt with all new quality parts from the bare block up with Crane cam and lifters, Speed Pro pistons, and all new bearings. Crank was properly ground down also. Engine runs excellent and is original to the car. Transmission is speed Toplader manual and believe it is also original to the car. The heater box has been rebuilt but is not currently installed in the car. Although not pictured, have the original grill with GT lights, all trim, glass, rearview mirror (day/night), etc. There is no rust on the car aside from minor amount of surface rust under the trunk lid. As you can see from the pictures, the car has not yet been completely assembled or painted. There is minor amount of body work yet to be done on the car. Once that is done it is ready to be painted. The car has been DA sanded and scuffed in preparation for paint. The car comes with all of the paint supplies needed to paint the car (including interior paint in original color), including primer and single stage night mist blue paint. This is the original color and the paint is high quality that was custom mixed to the original paint code. Also comes with paint prep, funnels, mixing cups. The car currently sits on original FoMoCo lug steel rims. It will need new tires but the current tires are fine for moving the car around. Why am selling the car? After 23 years have lost interest in the car and would prefer to spend time with my young children. have set the reserve low so there is money to be made by someone who may want to flip this car. have tried to be as complete as can with my description but am sure have missed some things. would be happy to answer any questions you have so please ask. can also take more pictures if needed. Please remember that you are bidding to purchase this car, not for chance to decide if you want to purchase it. Also, shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Car will come with Bill of Sale only. No international bidders.  $100 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. The car is listed for sale locally so reserve the right to end the auction early. Happy bidding! On Apr-29-17 at 13:25:25 PDT, seller added the following information:The frame rails had some patches installed. would best describe the underside as solid but not pretty since the welds were not ground down.  I am not professional restorer but believe the torque boxes are okay.  There are also subframe connectors on the car.
