“3 SPEED MANUAL/ RESTORED” *NUMBERS MATCHING/CROWD PLEASER!!! As we all know 1967 was banner year for the Ford Mustang.A great many argue that it was the bestand final “true pony car”. This beautiful vintage Mustang helps give some credence totheir argument backs up their assertions! The 1967 Mustang that you see pictured here is has been inthe hands of two previous owners. It is my pleasure to present it to the next potential lucky owner& the Ebay community abroad. Over the next few moments will attempt to give briefdescription regarding the cars history, condition drivability. Please take time to fully enjoy it. The SERIOUS BUYER is strongly encouraged to contact me “beforethe next guy puts this pony in his stable” (DON’T MISS OUT)! 314-497-9470 This Mustang car was purchased in the spring of 1967 by agentleman in Eldon Missouri. It was delivered to Sherwood Ford in the same state. By all accounts he truly cherished the car from day one. Approximatelyafter decade of usage it was basically put on the shelf for several years dueto change in his career. It subsequently was taken out of storage in 1985.After he got reacquainted with it retirement followedshortly thereafter and the Mustang was put up for sale. The second owner had collection of vintage vehicles and hedecided to restore this one sometime later. One of the first things that he was inspired to do was tohave the original lacquer paint removed so new coat of (T- Code Red enamel)could be laid down. It seems that the appointed shop prepped it properly as theexterior shows quite well.
There are no major imperfections to be spoken of. Most ofthe factory gaps and body lines are in conjunction with original toolingspecifications. The base coat clear coat method was utilized to cover each bodypanel so the exterior has smooth surface!
Before the vehicle was sanctioned to be released all of theappointed chrome stainless was either replaced or refurbished.
Some of the stainless moldings were simply polished to keepthe car original where it counted. All of the bright work is very presentable. The factory Mustang gas cap seems to be original (looksgreat).
Reminding folks of the good ole days on route 66 is also acinch, thanks in part to pristine classic chrome Mustang mirror! The factory side markers other signals have beentested (wiring cleaned, bulbs were replaced). With just flick of the switch the fog lights jump intoaction.
You can also expect to see clearly as this pony hasexcellent glass throughout. This beauty also has nice Raven black quality top thatprovides excellent contrast!
A period correct set of stainless rocker panel moldings canbe found along the base line to protect the vehicle from road debris.
At the end of the day if you have been waiting on nicequality Mustang at reasonable price you need to look no further! It is nearly impossible to take this beauty out for Sundaydrive without camera phones snapping pictures. She plays her part well at any venue SHOW OR GO!
Now that we have talked about this phenomenal Mustangs exterior letsdiscuss what she has to offer inside.
Upon opening the door of this 67 you will find very inviting interior! The interiors contrast against the red exterior is striking! The standard black upholstery throughout this Mustang is in greatshape! The seat covers were replaced sometime ago (still look sharp).
Placed between the buckets is nice aftermarket centerconsole “excellent for storing loose items or cold beverage” adds just theright touch! The rear bench shows extremelywell!
New loop pile durable carpet can be found front to rear. When the interior restoration was underway the shop alsorestored the factory Ford sanctioned door panels! New Mustang hardware wasattached to ensure stability “looks terrific”! The cockpit area of this vehicleis very clean and well presented.
The dash pad is in excellent shape all of the gaugesare functioning properly (rare)! There’s nice aftermarket cd player tucked underneath thatis ready to pump out tunes upon command! Right front and center for your driving pleasure is awonderfully adorned factory Ford steering wheel for you to grip (yes the hornworks)! The remainder of the interior was restored ala cart over thenext couple of years. A nice convertible top was installed short time ago byBaden Upholstery “keeping things up to snuff”! The hydraulic line and pump were serviced at the time soshe’s ready for years of trouble free top down fun! A new pair of convertible top pads were also installed thathelps protect it inside. You will be hard pressed to find classic Mustang that hasa more user friendly comfortable interior than this one has! No stone was left unturned to make sure that this carsinterior was ready for complete enjoyment! Taking it out of the garage for any excursion is atreat! Again this Mustang has it all! It is perfect car for theindividual who has been waiting to get into the game for the first time or agreat piece to add to your collection! Nowthat have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… Let’s talkabout what makes it America’s favorite vintage vehicle! NoMustang can truly be considered free running pony car without having afactory V/8! Theheart and soul of this horse is its STOUT factory 289 engine. The factoryengine block has been serviced consistently. It is incredibly strong and veryresponsive! Horsepower Torque ratio values are optimal! Theoriginal valve covers received new gaskets and the carburetor was rebuilt. Anew chrome air cleaner and oil cap were added short time ago. SHE’S DEPENDABLE AND STRONG RUNNER!!!! Preventativemaintenance has not been overlooked either. Thecar has recently had new plugs, wires, thermostat, fuel pump, battery, cableends, hoses, belts, starter and just too much more too list!!! Tofurther ensure reliability the local performance shop just flushed the coolantand changed the oil for good measure. Noshorts were taken! The gas tank was removed cleaned and sealed as well. Duringthe makeover we decided that new set of quality shocks were in order so apair was installed. Therewere also various suspension components replaced. ThisMustang has plenty of giddy up and accelerates with ease! Themuscle car theme is played out each and every time you decide to mash thethrottle thanks in part to the chambered dual exhaust system! Stoppingthis investment grade vehicle won’t be problem either “the complete brakesystem was just serviced …new hardware kit, braided line, etc”! Althoughthe car can be considered cruiser there’s plenty of power on tap! LET’SFIRE HER UP!!! Theexperience that you will have driving it is pleasurable one “Cruise withconfidence”! Totop things off there is an excellent set flawless 17 inch Torque Thrust styleRally wheels installed on this Ford!!!
