1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with crate 350 engine (original engine is crated on pallet and goes with the car), and factory speed transmission. This vehicle has undergone great deal of restoration over the last years or so .... not because it needed it, but because wanted it this way. It received new interior, other than the rear carpet and dash. My interior guy installed brand new tan top with date coded rear window. new windshield was installed as it got cracked when the vette was shipped to me from Pennsylvania. then had the car painted black and some new chrome installed, along with some badging. Last year removed the cheap fiberglass side exhaust covers and bought new chrome reproduction ones. This corvette also received new brake calipers all the way around, new suspension bushings, and anything else that looked sub-standard. New radial tires were mounted on later style wheels (which were the last items planned on changing). Everything works with the exception of the clock (which has mind of it's own), and the radio/power antenna. All the lights, horn, wipers, etc function as they should. have never had it out in rain, and by the appearance of the underside of this vehicle, it seems to have had very little use in bad weather. When it was on lift few years ago, studied the undercarriage and noticed what appeared to be factory chalk markings in the rear wheel well area. The chassis looks very clean. This is very nice corvette that needs absolutely nothing. It runs and drives perfect, and sounds just as good with the side exhaust.
