We are selling our 72 Mustang Convertible, one of 6121 produced for that year. We have owned this car since 1993. The car had almost complete restoration done. The following had been replaced with either original or aftermarket parts.
Body: It has brand new  FoMoCo Sport Grille(Mach style) with the correct lenses installed(light bulb housings need to be added), both inner rocker frame rails, both front torque boxes, both floor pans( original Ford car),floor pan extensions to firewall, front fender, both front inner fender aprons( battery panel and opposite side), it has new American Racing rims(15x8) with new BF Goodrich Radial T/A (225/60 R15) installed. The front and rear bumper are new.
Rear aprons(where the hinges bolt too), new Ford hood, one piece trunk floor with the drop offs, both rear quarter panels, rear torque box patches. outer wheel house panels have been in replaced. It had 2.5" complete exhaust system installed. New windshield was installed. new fuel tank, sending unit and fuel pump was installed.
Engine, Transmission, Rear end:
Engine that came with the car was completely rebuild, bored .030" over, high volume oil pump, mild performance cam was installed, heavy duty parts like timing chain was used. The carburetor is Autolite 4300-D, it was professionally rebuild and machine adjusted.
Transmission: the C-6 transmission has been completely rebuild, it has shift kit installed as well, the original unique torque converter had been tested and was installed.

Rear End: the car comes with Posi rear. It was completely rebuild with Ford clutch pack and Ford additive, we believe it has 3.50:1(maybe 3.75:1) gears. Axle bearings have been replaced The housing was cleaned up and repainted.
Suspension and Steering: the front and rear shocks are new, front coil springs and rear leaf springs are new, leaf spring shackles are new,  upper control arms, lower control arms, spring perches, inner tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, strut rod bushings are new.
Brakes: the car was converted to power front disk brakes. The spindles came from donor 72 Mustang Grande and are Ford original. All rotors and drums, wheel cylinder(rear), pads and shoes, brake hardware, brake hoses( front) are new, complete brake line kit was installed(front and rear).
Interior: both seats and rear bench have been re upholstered with new covers, the carpet is new.

The convertible top has rip in it. The convertible top opens and closes. Motor, switch and pistons work( the switch knob is broken though). The weatherstripping for the top needs to be replaced, its missing or damaged. The inner door panels are the DeLuxe version, but have tears in them. will include any parts have to be installed. have stripe decal kit which was an option for that car(must be installed by buyer). include two hood hinges(aftermarket) since the ones on the car are the original ones and possibly not holding the hood up(the hood moved on me once). passenger side door weatherstrip seal needs to be replaced(cleaned up and installed, do not have one and it needs to be purchased by buyer). The paint shows defects like paint chips or cracks in it, no visible dents. The bodywork and paint work  should be minimal for perfect car. Since installation of the engine, transmission, rear end and tires, we drove the car less then 200 miles. Look at the pics showing the tires, the blue ink/chaulk is still on it.
The vehicle is being sold as is, with any/ all defects and/or missing parts. there is no warranty, expressed written or implied.
