 Up for sale is black 1975 Corvette. It has the original L48 engine and THM 400 automatic transmission. The interior has been redone in the original medium saddle color. Ithas all new carpet, new 'leather like' vinyl and seat foam. The doorpanels have been replaced along with new driver's door inner latchand exterior opening latch. The T-top weatherstripping has beenreplaced, but the roof still leaks. All of the otherweatherstripping, if not replaced by time of sale, will be included. It also has Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB stereo.
The car has had the rear leaf springand shocks replaced and the front suspension rebuilt with VetteBrake and Products kit. The rear differential cover was replacedwhen the rear leaf spring was replaced. New shocks in front, too. Allshocks are Bilsteins. All four brake calipers were replaced withLone Star stainless steel O-ring calipers. All rotors and pads havebeen replaced with new Raybestos parts. New Hankook tires were put onrecently and the front end aligned. It also has DeWitts aluminumradiator with dual electric fans. The original Quadrajet was rebuiltwith parts from Daytona Parts Co., including their valve and seatdesigned for ethanol blended gas. still can't get it to run thatwell, so new Edelbrock 1400 carb and 1221 air cleaner come with it.
Black was not factory color in 1975. The original color was medium saddle. This car is in need of goodpaint job. I've had this car for 12 years. It needs to go to goodhome that can give the TLC this car needs. don't have the time andresources to do this kind of work anymore. would love to do bodyoff restoration, but that's not an option for me now. It's the idealcandidate for restomod.
Also, this car has been removed from my insurance, so the buyer either has to come get it or make arrangements.  cannot bring it to you.


Also included is just about all thedocumentation of everything done to this car. There's an owner'smanual and some small spare parts, carpet repair remnants if needed,etc. The tach doesn't work, but most of them don't. The odometershows just over 90,000 miles now. The mileage is no more than 1000miles off because for about year the cable attached to the back ofthe speedometer came off. Of course, the car wasn't used every daythen, so no more than 1000 miles. Car has air conditioning. Thesystem has been converted to R-134A refrigerant. However, line onthe compressor blew, so no refrigerant. Also, about the only airflow coming through the vents comes through the defroster. It willget warm, too. The headlight system components and vacuum hoses havebeen replaced with all new parts from Dr. Rebuild. The HVACcomponents in the dash could stand to be replaced. Included is anHVAC vacuum hose rebuild kit from Dr. Rebuild.
In early 2016, all of the intake andexhaust valve seals and water pump were replaced by Ronnie's Hot Rodsin Senatobia, MS. They also replaced the spark plugs and wires. Theignition coil and module in the HEI distributor were replaced, aswere the catalytic converter and both mufflers.
