This is the 4th IROC-Z have owned. It is my 2nd favorite right behind 1990 that was literally as if it came off the showroom floor. This 1988 is in great condition. Motor runs strong, transmission shifts well. The sound system is as it was new. Plays tapes as it should. absolutely love this car. have only had the car for about year and half. bought it from guy in Wisconsin. The previous owner claimed it had never been in rain etc. He claimed to have kept it in climate controlled garage. He was the 2nd owner. know it hasn't been in rain since have owned it. When I received the car did replace the battery, tires and alternator. The tires took off were the original but had dry rot in the grooves. replaced tires with BFGoodrich G-force Sport. also replaced fuel filter etc. to be on the safe side. Air Conditioner has been working great. love the exterior/interior color combination on this car.  I am only selling this car due to us moving. We need furniture etc for our new home. Also the wife would like to have spot in the garage. If we didn't get bigger mortgage to move then wouldn't be selling. When changed the battery did find rust on the battery housing area. Might have been leak from previous battery. Obviously this isn't noticeable without looking for it. The mileage at the time of this ad is 15,068.6 original miles. will probably drive this car some before the sale as it is time for an oil change etc. This car is old and is NOT perfect. However, it would be extremely difficult to find one in this good of condition.  Like said only have had one better and bought that one in 2003 so it is hardly comparable 13 years later. will be honest and answer any questions to the extent possible.
