2002 Ford Thunderbird Convertible w/ Hard Top
  
Ownerbought car when it was approx 1-2 years old, with approx 5000 miles.T_Bird has spent most of its life in Florida and Ohio with sometravel back and forth between residences. Paint-*It is very smooth, shiny, and appears to match all the way around.*The owner’s(wife and husband) do not have any knowledge of anypaint work that has been done to the car other then touch up of rearbottom area, and they have owned the car all of but 1st1-2 years..*We guess it to be original or most of it, as we are not seeing anytypical flaws that often exist in repaints.*The nicks are mostly those on the front end, above and below thegrill that are impossible to not get if driving the car. There are afew nicks on the back of the drivers and passengers door, and acouple of small scratches on the rear bumper cover. Anything beyondthat are just the typical light scratches that show so easily on ablack car, that most could be easily polished out. (See pics)*If anything was touched up it was truly done by professional,because we are not able to pick up on it upon very close inspection.
Body-*I find the body to be extremely straight and correct, and tried hardto find any dent or slight incorrect dimple and have not been ableto find one.*Its about as close to factory new body as one could imagine.*The fits around the doors, trunk, and hood are very uniform, nothingappears to be out of line and all seems very appropriate.(See pics)
Magnets-*We attempt to take several readings on each body panel, however thehood, trunk, and front fenders on this vehicle are of non steelmateriel so we cant get readings.*The doors and the quarters all seem to have pretty consistentlybetween to ml of paint, and nothing jumped out as being anobvious repaint or repair.BrightWork-
* All ofthe bright work on the carappears to be fastened properly, and without damage.

*All the bright work looks like that of car just couple years old,showing no wear at all. *All the lenses look nice and clear on the car, and again without age.The exception being the tops of the headlights have started to age alittle, as they typically do and would benefit from headlamprestoration.*The drivers side chrome windshield surround molding has somebubbling. (See pics)
Glass-
*The side windows and rear window do have the Car Lite logo, and thefront windshield is Solar Tint with Ford Motor Company and PPG, aswell as Thunderbird emblem.
*The glass all seems very clear, and we do not see any discoloring,delamination, bull-eyes, wiper marks, scratches, or cracks.

*Its possible the windshield could have couple pin head size nicks,that we cant see but develope from typical driving. Otherwise theglass is as nice and clear as you could expect it to be, and likethat of car just couple years old.ConvertibleTop-
*It appears to have good deep coloring, without any noticeable fading.The current owner mostly uses the car on nice days, and with the topdown.*We do not see any problems with the stitching.
*The boot is included, and all seems to be proper and intact exceptfor the far right side snap has come lose and could use repair.*Car has been stored with the top down, am sure with time thewrinkles will start to work there way out to some degree. We raisedthe top only minutes before photos.

*Top was replaced few years back when tree limb had damaged theoriginal top. (headliner was not replaced)

HardTop-
*Current owner has never used this top, and other than some light dustits about as close to new as you could possibly imagine. (See pics)
Interior-
*We do not see anything on the interior that jumps out and looks likeit has been changed, or altered from new.*The headliner all seems to have good seams with material that showsno particular aging.*The sun visors are good and solid and work well.*The leather seats are in nice supple condition, which as usual has alittle more break in wear on the drivers seat. You will noticeneither of the bolsters have received significant amount of wear.Look closely at the pictures, there is light scratch on thepassengers seat. (See pics)*The side panels are all intact, have good color, and show veryminimal wear.*The stainless door trim on the passenger side looks like new, and onthe drivers side there are some light little dents that may havetaken place from the driver getting in and out with possibly jewelryor other. (See pics)*We do not see any wear on the dash, console, or steering wheel thatwould be more than that of couple year old car.*The carpet is all in good condition, and the mats have minimal wearas well. (See pics)*The back of the seats and the divider between the passengercompartment and the soft top storage does have some fading to thecoloring in the materials, that could possibly be treated with aplastic rejuvenation.
Trunk-
*The material covering the trunk area shows almost no wear at all, andbelow is the spare tire as well as the lug wrench off to the side.*Also in the trunk are set of four wheel locks, and the correctlocking and unlocking tool. checked and tool works on all four, andcould be installed on the car to protect the wheels should someonechoose to.
Tiresand Wheels-*Yokohama Avid*We do not see any cracking or damage to the outside of the tires.*The wheels look like that of car just couple years old, onlyexception being is there is small scuff on the right rear wheel,and the right front has little bit of the chrome that is flaking.(See pics)*Left Front – 235-50-17 5-6/32 Tread remaining*Left Rear- 235-50-17 5-6/32 Tread remaining*Right Front- 235-50-17 5-6/32 Tread remaining*Right Rear- 235-50-17 5-6/32 Tread remaining
EngineCompartment-*Everything under the hood looks just as it would have we believe fromthe manufacturer, with the exception being one little plug that holdsthe cover on top of the engine, and towards the front the label iskind of worn off above the radiator. (See pics)
Chassis-*Looking at the bottom side you can see it has not been undercoated,and you can see it just in its natural state. We do not see anywhereon the floors, or in the support members, any type of rustperforation Looking closely you will see just small amounts ofsurface rust, that you would typically see on vehicles bottom sidethat has been exposed minimally to any rain and or moisture over theyears.*The exhaust system looks solid with minor surface rust, but we do notsee any perforation anywhere.*We do not see any oil leaks, and it looks like to us that the engine,rear end, and transmission are all mostly dry. (See Pics)*We only see little light scrap on the lower nose, and littlelight scrapping on the engine cradle, but we do not see any otherunderside damage from any foreign objects or rubbing.
TestDrive-Thecar runs, steers, and rides like heavy luxury car. The car has veryfirm, responsive, tight, smooth steering. The drive train seems to bein order, the engine starts, runs, and accelerates/deceleratessmoothly. The transmission seems to up shift and down shift as neededwithout hesitation, and is extremely smooth. The brakes stop well,and the car stays straight upon hard braking. It does not pull to theleft or right, and at most you feel very minor pulsation which isalmost unnoticeable. Ownerhad RR bumper repair recently, and valve covers resealed.
