bought this car for commuter for job put new snow tires on it had brakes done all the way around new plugs and wires and battery and the oil and tranny fluid changed ..... weeks later tranny went had it replaced with an ETE rebuild with year warranty still has years left and at the same time had the timing belt and water pump done cause while they were in there it seamed like good idea since they sugest it around 80000 miles and weeks later car slammed into it while it was parked.... was going to find parts car and fix it myself figured the parts to be somewhere around 700.00 or was looking for whole parts car with bad tranny or motor or smashed in back.. but have since taking on other projects and just cant find the time have around 5000.00 into this car the tranny alone was 1800.00 the motor only has 81000 miles and just had the timing belt and water pump done .. this would be great car for someone that has the time to fix it or someone looking for parts car for there neon make me an offer cant refuse perfer not to part out would like to sell as whole
