If you are considering buying any used Mercedes Convertible, make absolutely sure the hydraulic cylinders, pump and tank, that operate the top, into the trunk are working perfectly, as over time, they will HAVE TO be replaced and many of the convertibles are being sold due to the expensive nature of replacing those cylinders, pump and tank. The cost to do that ranges around $8-9K including the cylinders, pump and tank. would not buy any used convertible without knowing the cylinders and pump/tank are recently replaced or you are taking an extreme risk.

I have saved you that, the cylinders on this car are new, just now replaced The work was done at Mercedes, at cost of $6K, (I have the receipt) plus the new cylinders, pump and tank, which ALREADY had, valued at approx. $3K. That would be $9K just now put into this car Also the start battery is new Mercedes battery few months ago, the rear is brand new Mercedes battery. The pictures tell the story, beautiful car.
