2008 BMW 328i Dr. Hardtop Convertible
  Owner bought car couple years ago as fun car for special days. However with busy family schedules, kids, etc. they don't get to enjoy it as much as they hoped. Wantto see 192 Hi-Res Photos?Contact Chad at 330-353-1750 DETAILSOF CAR:*Power Convertible Hardtop*Air Conditioning*Cruise Control*A.M/F.M Radio*Power Seats*Leather Seating*Disc Player*Heated Seats*Paddle Shift*Lumber Adjustment*Adjustable Steering Wheel*Power Steering*Power Brakes*Car Fax Provided, Includes Maintenance Records*Plus More, See PicturesPaint-*The paint seems to match well all the way around, and has very littlewear showing.*We do not notice any scratches to the body of the car, and all thepaint is very smooth and shiny.*Most of the body is nick free, with the exception of one larger nickon the roof panel, and few tiny nicks to the paint on the deck andside mirrors.*The panels below the headlights in the front(aka bumper), and hood dohave fair amount of nicks from road debris (See pics, typical of alower front car). *In bright light the car is slightly lighter in color(blue), howeverwe had to take all the pictures in complete overcast. The brightlight brings out more of the metallic in the blue paint.*Front edge of the hood does have clear application on it to protectit.Body-*The body is all very nice, and straight, and correct without anydents or creases that we could detect.*The gaps and fits around the doors, hood, and trunk all look veryeven and correct.*Car Fax indicated right side and rear minor damage report.MagneticGauge- *In taking couple of readings on each panel it would appear that thepaint and materials on all steel panels are in the 7-10 mils range,and fairly consistence with the quarters and trunk being or milshigher.*The front fenders are of non-steel material so we could not gaugethem.BrightWork-*The bright work that is surrounding the top and side windows is moreof brushed finish, and the emblems and grill are more of chromefinish.*They all seem to be secured properly, and we do not notice anydamage. They show very little wear with most noticeable being thefront grill does have some light road nicks from typical driving.(See Pics)Glass-*All side glass, rear glass, and windshield have the BMW logo.*All the glass is very nice and clear without discoloring, bull-eyes,cracks, wiper marks, scratches, or delamination.*The windshield does have some light pin head size nicks, with aslightly larger nick about 10 inches up from the bottom, and about 10inches in from the left side. (See Pics)Interior-*In looking closely at the interior we do not see anything that looks different from factory direct components, and all appears to bestock.*The leather seating all feels fairly supple, and the sun-visors alllook good and solid. The headliner is tight, and appears to beproper.*The seats, door panels, carpet, and switches show minimal amount ofwear for car this age.*There appears to be light amount of wear showing on the outside ofthe seats and bolsters. (See Pics)*It looks as if there has been some damage and or repair to the rearcenter console. The wood area looks fine but the tan colored arealooks as thought there was some repair, and it may have worn off abit.*The center storage area rear does not open easily, and could use someminor color repair.Trunk-*The trunk shows very minimal wear.*There is pull down space limiter so you know how much you can packif you decide to put the top down.*Everything looks very neat, with maybe just few spots on the carpetthat could be cleaned.Tiresand Wheels- *Nexen 5000 Plus tires*We do not see any damage tothe tires or the wheels that would indicate hard curb damage.*All the wheelshave nice color. (See Pics)*The BMW logo in the middle of the wheelsdo show some wear, and on various wheels few scuffshere and there.*Left Front- 225-40-18 9/32Tread Remaining*Left Rear- 255-35-18 6/32 TreadRemaining*Right Front- 225-40-18 9/32Tread Remaining*Right Rear- 225-35-18 6/32Tread RemainingEngineand Transmission-*Looking under the hood it all looks neat, and clean. It all appearslike factory designed, and we do not see anything that appears to bemissing, added, or altered from how it would have been manufactured.*Car Fax shows some maintenance records.Chassis-*All the shielding and the exhaust appear to be pretty much in correctorder, with some wearing of the front shield where it protects theengine underneath.*Some lightsurface rust which is typical from normal use.*There is some light oildripping from the accesspanel, whichwas removed for inspectionand light seeping from theoil pan. (See Pics) Thetransmission, and rear end seems to be dry without issues.*The rubber shields on out of the shocks are no longer held wellin position. The right rear shock does have some light fluidsstarting to seep.Mechanical-*The power roof works from single switch and was operated and cycleddown and cycled back up on couple of occasions, and top, trunk, andwindows all seem to work properly as part of that operation. Verysimple way to have convertible in just few seconds.*Headlights work in low beam*High beams works*Front parking lights work*Switch that powers all windows at the same time works*Individual switches for all windows work*Emergency brake sets correct and does hold*Paddle shift works*Wipers work*Blinkers work front and back, left and right sides(including sidemarkers)*Power mirrors both left andright side work in all directions*Both driver and passenger seat work in all positions and also thepower recliner on both sides*Radio works *Hood release works*Air condition works and cools*Temp. works on both sides*4 way flashers work*4 dash vents all operate*Left cup holder works, right side seems sticking little but works*Fan speedswork*Horn works*Steering wheel volume works*One remote works(has with keys)
TestDrive-
Chadhad an opportunity to drive the car about 30 miles, both around townand on the expressway. The engine seemed to start, run smoothly, andrespond just as it was designed to. In driving the car down the roadthe transmission seemed to up shift, and down shift just as it neededto. The car steers very straight and very precise, and did not pullto the left or right. The vehicle feels very solid, and moved downthe road smoothly.
