Up for auction is my 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition. Built as limited production model for the 40th anniversary of the original '68 Mustang in the Steve McQueen movie "Bullitt". 
Engineers tapped Ford Racing for host of upgrades to make the new Bullitt much more than just an appearance package. Ford Racing??™s Power Upgrade Package added 15 extra horsepower to the Mustang GT??™s 300 ponies. Suspension tweaks included stiffer shocks, springs, and strut tower brace, giving the Bullitt extra bite in the corners. Bullitt-specific front brake pads and 3.73 rear gears rounded out the mechanical upgrades, save for true dual-exhaust system that was specifically tuned to sound like Detective Frank Bullitt??™s own 1968 Mustang movie car.In keeping with the classic film, the 2008 Bullitt was stripped of badging, scoops and spoilers, with the faux gas cap on the trunk bearing the only name of the beast. unique grille and specially crafted 18-inch wheels finished the exterior treatments, while Bullitt-specific interior trim with Bullitt badging and an aluminum shift knob completed the Bullitt transformation. Each 2008 Bullitt was assigned its own VIN-specific serial number on special ID plate affixed to the car's strut tower brace.

Available in either Dark Highland Green (specific to the Bullitt) or simply Black, the 2008 Mustang Bullitt is thoroughly modern take on the original movie car legend.Engine

I have made some personal modifcations to the car which can all be returned to stock if desired. The stock parts will be included. EIBACH Pro Plus lowering springs and Anti-Roll sway bars. this completely transformed the way the car handles. Steering is now tight and crisp with out excessive body roll like the stock suspension had. it also gives the car proper stance vs. the stock 4x4 look.Massive Speed Adjustable Panhard bar and Geometry Correction kit. must for car that has been lowered. The correction kit insures proper geometry keeping the pan hard bar parallel with the rear axle. BBK Stainless Steel Ceramic coated shorty headers. went with the shorty headers as the "Y" pipe is unique to the Bullitt emulating the sound of the movie car.     - Twin 62mm throttle body. this greatly improved the throttle response and drivability of the car     - Under drive pulley kit. Reduces unnecessary drag on the engine resulting in 10 HP gainSCT Tuner with custom program specific to this vehicle and modifications madeCOSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS:- Black window tint on side, rear and opera windows- Color matched louvers- Sequential rear taillight turn signals- Xzilon coating. This is clear coat product developed by Boeing Airlines. Amazing product! Water beads up like it has thousand coats of wax on it. It also makes it super easy to wash, just wipe dry! can tell you that will never own dark vehicle again without this product applied.This vehicle also comes with transferrable warranty from Custom edge. It is their "Ultimate" package good thru 3-22-2017. Also included is custom fit indoor cover. The oil has been changed religiously using only Royal Purple full synthetic oil.
