I carefully decided to add some modifications to subtlyimprove the drivability and update the car to today’s standards:Appearance: ABS ZR1 front lip and sides were professionallyinstalled. ABS material was picked over carbon fiber since it's strong yet flexible, soit won’t crack like the typical carbon fiber or fiberglass lips.All interior and exterior lights have been upgraded to 6000kLEDs for updated lighting look (Exterior: fogs, DRL amber/white switchbacks withproper resistors, reverse lights, license plate lights. Full interior incandescent bulbs swap)25% Tints on sides and 15% rear windowA-Pillars and Halo were professionally wrapped in gloss black vinyl to match the tinted windowsFront side markers and rear side markers were wrapped in vinyl tintRoof was replaced with OEM clear roof for full sky visibilityfrom the inside. They are tinted from factory on the outside so people can't see inside your car through the roof. Perfect match to the gloss black partsabove and windows. Matte Expel Stripes were added so that from the outside itlooks like they are the regular OEM black stripes, but you can see through them fromthe inside. Expel also stops any heat from coming in, so perfectfor summer as well.Car will come with the OEM Centennial Edition shift knob, which is black alcantara with red stitching like the rest of the interior (Not the aftermarket one in one of the pictures)
Drivability:MGW Shifter was added for smoother, crispier shiftingMild to Wild Switch mounted in ashtray (I don’t smoke). It is remote switch who closes or opens two of the exhaust valves. It allows you to switch between very quiet exhaust tone and louder more aggressive exhaust tone.CAGS Bypass (to avoid the OEM 1-3rd gear shifting requirement duringlow rpms that was added to factory C6 Corvettes to get around the extra taxes during original car sale).Carbotech Piece Street Brake Front Rear pads wereadded (better stopping power, but less dust produced than the cheaper OEM pads)Hankook V12s were added for less road noise and betterdrivability. Car was then slightly lowered on the OEM lower bolts. Then, a4-point professional alignment was done following the best recommended specsfor best performance to tire life ratio. 2k miles on the tires.ARH Longtube Headers (with Flowmaster cats installed for 0drone and fumes, and adequate exhaust noise level) professionally installedwith the proper supporting modifications (upgraded spark plugs, 180Fthermostat), and professionally dyno tuned by Redline Motorsports, arguably the besttuner in South Florida for LS engines. Done year ago, no issues whatsoever,amazing improvement in sound and overall drivability. With M2W switch in quitemode, very conservative exhaust sound.Post-Tune Numbers: 432 HP/ 415.4 Torque (Equals 497HP/478Torque to the crank once you consider the transmission losses of 15%, for thosewho are used to comparing to Advertisement numbers). Can provide dyno graph.Headers were the only HP work that did to the car, and Idid so after hearing other C6 corvettes with aftermarket long tube headers. The difference through the NPPexhaust is amazing. The only reason am selling the car is because my wife andI are moving to NYC, and don’t want to see this beautiful car getting dingedand destroyed in the city.I have decided to sell the car with the modifications is because the car is so well done and the modificationsyielded such an improvement over the already amazing OEM setup, that Idecided to keep it for the next driver’s enjoyment!
