To mark the car’s debut, Chevrolet is prepping the Corvette Stingray Coupe Premiere Edition-and just 500 will be built. While the engine and the transmission options remain unchanged, the Premiere Edition isn’t going to be hard to pick out of lineup. There are Stingray logos on the center caps of the chrome wheels and on the sill plates, prominent “stinger” stripe on the hood, and Vette-branded luggage designed by Thule. Based on the top-level 3LT trim, the Premiere Vette comes only in Laguna Blue and features brown faux suede upholstery and interior trim, as well as the carbon-fiber trim décor package and an exposed carbon-fiber roof. The 500 examples can also be identified by their VIN numbers, the run of which starts with 300001, and by an individually numbered plaque on the dashboard.
