You are looking at very correct and original 1940 knucklehead.  This bike was restored with all the original parts and hardware down to the wiring harness.    It does have 40s aftermarket muffler that was on the bike. The rest of the exhaust is original.   have 1941 and later clutch  and cover assembly on it  I do have the 1940 narrow cover and clutch assembly that can go with it.    I also have original Firestones if you want to put original tires on it.  Runs and rides perfect!

        36-40 cases were known to crack on left side case. This one does have crack.  It has been there for  over 20 years and doesn't affect performance of machine at all. It wont stop you from riding it daily. To me this bike needs nothing.   Any questions feel free to contact me.
