1940 WLD 45" Flathead Complete Lower End
Very rare, Clear Title in hand
I bought this couple years ago for project.
Rebuilt by previous owner
Belly numbers match
No cracks or welds that can see
Very clean, nice and tight, clean numbers, matching belly numbers
Both oil pumps are included.

THERE WERE ONLY***  567 *** WLD's  MADE IN 1940 AND IT WAS THE SECOND HIGHEST PRODUCTION YEAR OF THE FEW YEARS THEY WERE PRODUCED.THERE WERE OVER **11,000** WLA'S  MADE IN 1940 AND IT DOUBLED THE FOLLOWING YEAR. WELL OVER TEN THOUSAND NEARLY EVERY YEAR IT WAS PRODUCED.THIS "WLD" ENGINE COMES WITH CLEAR TITLE AND DOESN'T GET MUCH CLEANER LOOKING. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.On Nov-29-16 at 08:29:42 PST, seller added the following information:FREE SHIPPING IN LOWER 48 ONLY!On Nov-30-16 at 00:54:29 PST, seller added the following information:To clarify, When purchased this the previous owner stated he had done the following: Bottom end had been blasted, cleaned, new bushings, bearings, gears,,etc as well as flywheels balanced. This is what meant by previous owner rebuilt it. This is how received it and as you can tell by pictures the cam chest screws are just hand tightened as are the case bolts. Final assembly will be required. took pictures of the cam chest and cam cover and as you can see everything looks new.
