This 1942 Harley Davidson knucklehead has been freshly restored combining classic original style with post war bobber elements. The engine has been freshly rebuilt and runs perfectly. The twin carburetors pull through the full power band and the bike starts on the first or second kick. This bike is the result of 12 month Pebble Beach quality restoration and build and is absolutely flawless. It has clean California title and is currently registered.
This is museum quality motorcycle and would make handsome addition to any collection. The frame is an early prewar unit with an open brake stay. It needed neck work but was otherwise in good shape. The cam cover, foot boards, and shortened exhaust can are all original Harley Davidson. The carburetors are original Linkert M75's and work well.
