ThisHarley Davidson Knucklehead motorcycle is Titled as 1946 FL in California.The Engine number is 46 FL and the belly numbers match 46 -27** This bike waspurchased in 1997 in the Los Angeles area by the current owner’s husband. Hepurchased this bike as an investment and rode it occasionally to keep it fresh.They own couple of other Harley's that took up most of the riding time andmileage.  This 1946 Knucklehead appearsto be an original engine in 49/50 frame. The sheet metal is all originalHarley and in great shape. The husband got sick couple of years back and thebike sat in corner of the garage for the past years. It is photographed asis from the corner in the garage. It istime for new caretaker for this wonderful motorcycle!MILEAGE:  0745 showing on the odometer. Unknown ifworking or not, possibly reset at the build. PAINT: The paint is from an early restoration in the 90’s andshows good application, quality product. Minimal scratches and no visibleflaking. It should clean and polish right up.SHEET METAL: Sheetmetal is in excellent condition and well fit. No sign of any repairs made orneeded. No dings or dents found. All sheet metal appears to be original Harley.Gas tanks appear to be clean and sound.Tanksare 50 – 53, the fenders appear to be 47/48.CHROME: Mostchrome on this motorcycle appears to be original and in good condition. quickapplication of Never Dull may assist with the surface pitting. There is lotof chrome on this bike which is typical for SoCal restoration/build from the90’s. It is destined to be sparkler!TIRES RIMS: Rimsare chromed steel with chromed spokes and nipples. Serviceable but could userebuild and new chrome. FrontTire is Metzler 130/90 16 date coded out, probably serviceable.RearTire is Metzler  130/90 16 date codedout, probably serviceable. MECHANICAL: Thismotorcycle was in excellent mechanical condition when parked because of theillness. It was not the primary ride for the owner and has minimal mileage. Ithas compression and it shifts through the gears. It is not currently runningand needs service. Transmission shifts through the gears and the bike rollssmoothly. All indicators are that it ran well when parked.TITLE:  Clean California Title with non-op registration.
