Up for sale is this nearly all original 1950 EL Panhead.  It's two owner bike that was recently found after sitting since 1968.  With some gas and oil the bike fired right up after sitting nearly 50 years.  have rebuilt the carb with new gaskets and rubber ducky float, installed new 6V HD battery, cleaned adjusted the clutch, adjusted the primary chain, and changed the oil in motor and transmission.  The bike runs and rides great.  It shifts well in all four gears.  The speedometer and tripometer are working, however, the odometer is not working so true miles are unknown. 

The bike was repainted around 1952. You can see the original blue coming out from underneath the black.  The motor looks as though it has never been apart.  The cylinders, oil pump and tappet blocks are all original paint.  Cases match.  The wiring is all original.  Seat and saddlebags are also all original leather.  Complete frame with oil tank and primary covers are all original paint.  You can see the remnants of the original patent decal on the oil tank.  Its basically an all original 1950 Panhead except it was repainted 60 years ago and the muffler was changed with period correct Superior fishtail..  do have copies of few pictures from when the 2nd owner bought the bike in 1952 and it looks identical now as it did then, including the lack of Sgt. stripes on the rear fender and the Superior muffler.  The toolbox is missing.  That's the way got it.
