Up for sale used 1957 Harley-Davidson FL Police Model. Bike has been stored in storage shed since 1970. The grandson of the owner advised that is was an Alabama State "Interceptor" Police Model that was bought at an auction sometime in the early 1960's. Frame is unmolested and is in excellent condition. Matching belly numbers. The motor starts very easy and runs great with no smoke. Will be posting link to YouTube video first of the week ). The Linkert M74B Carb was rebuilt, new manifold seals, points, condenser and plugs installed. The transmission looks to be all new with no miles. Bike shifts like brand new, real pleasure to ride. Inside the  gas and oil tank were surprisingly like brand new! A new set of Coker Firestone replacement Tires with new tubes and rim strips installed. Both Hubs were inspected and checked to be in good condition. Front and rear brake components were inspected and cleaned as well as all brake linkages and crossover shaft lubricated. New throttle and timer advance cables were installed and function perfect. Rear stand operates correctly as do head tail and brake lights. Some of the wiring needed to be replaced and was with cloth wiring in asphalt loom. Oil lines, tank to fuel strainer line, seat and only few other replacement parts were used. Very unmolested with near all original parts as shown. Guide running lights not hooked up but do work and now have the correct small base mounts installed. Have not had the bike long so new owner will need to tweak the bike some as expected. Also have the original rusted out seat included. Missing siren foot operated pedal assembly. Siren does function properly. Horn does not work. New 6-volt Battery. Oil leak is from the oil pressure sending unit. No other noticeable leaks. Right gas tank backside on top has pinhole that has been plugged with seal-all and is not leaking.  Florida H-D 1957 Title in my name. Cash or Cashiers Checks only.
