Description:  Harley-Davidson LAPD Meter Maid Trike Flathead 45 Servi-Car GE OEM.  Former LAPD Meter Maid Servi-Car in original condition.  Trike has some bumps and bruises from years of service, which just adds to it's character.  Starts, stops and runs well.  Has speed reverse transmission with electric start, tank shift on right and throttle on left.  has an earlier period DC-Linkert carburetor instead of Tillotson, which is not necessarily bad thing.  All police related pieces were disabled by previous owner to include, pursuit lamps, siren, and original Motorola radio, though it appears to be all there.  Front turn signals and right turn signal are not working possibly due to disabling of Police related items...  so, needs little attention.  Headlight, tail light, and brake lights all work, including starter button, horn, and dash lights.  Original Police speedometer is also in working condition.  Period tires appear to be pretty recent with good thread.  This trike is basically running and rideable museum piece.  It is missing riser/steering damper cover and license tag light lens.  Also comes with tow bar (not pictured), which is missing some bumper mount parts, but has been modified using trailer tongue.  Has clean Title in my name, as 1969 Harley using the California VIN stamped into neck.  Original numbers on motor are good and belly numbers match.  This vehicle has no warranty expressed or implied and is being sold 'AS IS'.
Payment:  non-refundable $500 deposit is required thru PayPal at auction end.  Remaining balance to be paid in full in the form Bank Cashiers Check or Cash in person within 10 days of auction end.  Funds must clear my Bank before vehicle will be released.
