(Only Military or Policecould order XL-A??™s)  This Bike has clear Title and matching Engine and Frame numbers4D52301H2You can get information from Harley-Davidson about all their modelsexcept XL-A??™s.  That??™s because of theGovernments confidential rules and regulations. I was told by reliable source thatabout 50 XL-a??™s were made in 1972.  Somefor the US military and some for the German Police. This is PROJECT bike. It does not run.  It was taken apart in preparation forrestoration. purchased the bike in basket. assembled the bike to show itas whole bike and to be able to roll it around. The motor turns over freelybut is in need of rebuild.  Some of theparts are not correct i.e. was told it has the wrong carburetor and the gastank mounting holes do not match up. The whole bike is in need of complete restoration.HOWEVER,This bike restored it??™s original Military or Police condition wouldbe great piece to add to collection and would certainly be worth lot ofmoney. When the bike was taken apartit had (and is recorded as original 15,342 miles.   An opportunity like this doesn??™t come along very often. SHIPPING  $595  anywhere in the lower 48 States except NYBouroughs.
