This auction is for 1974 Honda CB360. It is acomplete bike right down to the owner’s manual and tool kit. Anyone with25 or fewer positive feedbacks should contact me prior to bidding. Yourbid is contract to pay for and pick up this bike.  History:I was told the bike was running the day it was put instorage. The bike was put into storage inside closed building with cementfloor 26 years ago and has not been started since. took it apart, cleaned, restoredand replaced as needed to get it to where it is today. have not tried tostart the engine. My hobby is mostly appearance enhancement.Mechanical:The bike has not been running for 26 years. It turnsover well and seems to have good compression. The clutch/lever works as doesthe six-speed transmission. The foot shift goes into all gears. cleaned thecarburetors and they work smoothly via the throttle/handlebar grip. do nothave the knowledge to check the dwell, timing, sych the carbs or troubleshootanything mechanical so have left that alone for someone who knows that kindof thing. The engine serial number shows the two punch marks above/below thedash indicating that the two factory recalls from Honda for that year wereperformed on this engine.Electrical:The wiring is all original, intact and unmolested. Thereis no battery. All of the lights are present. do not know the working conditionof the coils or plug wires.Tires Wheels:I installed new Pirelli front tire/tube and new rearMetzeler tire/tube. The chrome on the wheels is very good as are most of thespokes. The axles and all associated parts were cleaned and lubed beforereassembly.Brakes:The front caliper was disassembled, cleaned andreinstalled with new rubber cylinder seal. The master cylinder was cleanedand flushed. The brake lines were flushed. (You will need to fill the systemwith fluid and bleed the air out.) The rear brake was cleaned, adjusted andreassembled. It was adjusted and works as it should.Paint Chrome:The CB360 came in two colors in 1974; this one beingCandy Orange. could not find suitable matching paint so stripped the sidecovers and they have three coats of sandable primer on them. repaired two “V”dents in the tank and primed them. left the rest of the original paint on thetank. The chrome overall is in excellent condition.Fuel System:As mentioned, the carburetors were cleaned and workproperly. They will need some fine adjustments once the bike is running. Irebuilt the petcock; it is clean and works properly. The tank has minimal rustinside and should be useable with fuel filters in the lines. New fuel lineswill need to be installed.Miscellaneous:The seat is in like-new, excellent condition. There isan original owner’s manual in the compartment under the seat. The original toolkit and bag are in the frame/tool box. All original Honda badges and framedecals are present. The Iowa Motor Vehicle inspection sticker from the dealeris still on the rear/inner fender.Legal:The bike has clear Iowa title, current and in my name,that will transfer in all 50 states. will also provide Bill of Sale. makeno warranty with the bike. have never heard it run. The auction descriptiontells you everything that know about this bike. That’s the best can do.Payment:Payment is to be made to me via US Mail within five (5)days from the end of the auction. It must be in one of only two forms. USPS MoneyOrder (no other brands) or Certified Check drawn on major bank (ex. WellsFargo, US Bank, etc.) If you pick the bike up within five days you may pay cashto me when you come for the bike.Pickup:I want the bike gone within ten (10) days from the endof the auction. will work with you to load it or will work with whatevershipper you contract to pick it up. can store it (inside) for you duringthose 10 days before you pick it up.Questions:Ask any questions you can think of and will answerthem for you.
