For Sale is an awesome Ironhead Sporty. 1975 Halrey Sportster XLCH with clean title. sought out to find an undamaged/ repaired engine case for this motorcycle. The original engine case that came with the bike was repairs by the transmission side of the engine case half. am providing the engine case with the sale of the motorcycle. would like the case to go with the motorcycle due to the title matching the the engine case #'s. found 1974 engine case to use. had an engine builder help me replace bearings, line ream cam bushings, trans bushings/ bearings. had S&S genuine rods balanced with the crank. also had the engine builder help me with re furbishing the heads. Replacing valve guides, valves, valve stem seals, and rockers arms. installed new oil pump during re assembly. Replaced all transmission gears with Andrews gears. W1st gear Stk4th. New cylinders and pistons were installed with new compression ratio of 10:1. Installed sifton lifter blocks, lifters, and andrews push rods. Stock cams were utilized. The clutch is brand new with new clutch discs and plates. also installed an aftermarket remote oil filter kit that mounts on the left front motor mount. Frame of the motorcycle was power coated mat black. chrome plated rear swing arm was installed. Rear shocks were removed and solid adjustable aluminum rear mounts were installed. The rear fender is from 1936 Ford spare tire ring. Front end is 1970-72 33.4mm front fork with early model front hub. One drain plug on the right fork slide is broken off. Both hubs are laced with reproduction 18" kelsey hayes style rims front and rear. Wheels laced with Buchanan spokes. Both information lights in headlamp mount have been removed and two switches were installed in there place. One switch is used for high and low beam for the headlamp. The other switch is used for an ignition on and off. Carburetor is an SU eliminator carb. Solid intake clamps were used to mount intake/ carb. Engine starts and runs great. clutch engagement and disengagement is awesome. Transmission shifts through all gears. Great little ripper!!! am also adding new gas tank with the sale. The gas tank that is fitted on the bike now has been lined inside. The new tank just needs paint. Please inspect photos and any questions please ask. Thank you.
