For sale is my 1978 BMW R100RS sidecar rig.  believe am the second owner of the bike, at least in sidecar form.  The bike was professionally built by Northwest Sidecars in Boise, ID, which is who purchased the bike from in 2014.  believe it has Ural sidecar attached.  The motorcycle is R100RS with an fairing.

I purchased the sidecar rig to enjoy motorcycling with my young son, who is disabled.  Mostly it has just been used around the neighborhood (and being the coolest elementary school drop-off vehicle) but have detached the sidecar couple of times and took longer trips with just the motorcycle.  (It's fairly easy to attach/detach the sidecar.) However, my son has grown and it's not quite as easy manhandling him in and out of the sidecar, so I'm releasing it from my stable.
The bike has been great runner.  All I've had to do is replace the fork seals, replace one muffler, and change the oil.  The carbs could use cleaning, as there is lingering problem with sticky float bowl.  Besides that, it's great example of BMW craftsmanship, solidly built.
Included in the sale are sidecar-specific motorcycle tires (no sidewall).  swapped them out for regular motorcycle tires when detached the sidecar and haven't swapped them back, but have them.  will also include tank cover that came with the bike.  Finally, included is the original BMW luggage cases for the bike.  The last photo is one of the bike, minus the side car, and packed up for long touring trip.
