1978 Harley Davidson 75th Anniversary Electra Glide. This is the 80 cubic inch model which was introduced at the half year of 1978. It is commonly know as 1978 1/2 because of the 80 inch engine. The first half of 1978 all models were 74 cubic inch. This is an original paint, low mileage example. This is the rare Black Cherry color with the brown leather seat and passenger backrest. The bike is original and has been well cared for. It will need new seals for the saddlebag lids and tour-pak lid. The seals are there but are old and dry. This bike starts and runs great. This is great example of an original and unmolested Harley Davidson Anniversary bike. Great addition to any collection. Please check all pictures carefully to insure this bike is what it is described as.Winshield has become laminated and will need replaced. There are small but normal wear marks on paint and frame. On Mar-31-16 at 05:50:28 PDT, seller added the following information:A very friendly ebay user gave me little more information on the bike. There were only 2300 of these bikes made and the color was only offered the 2nd half of the year with the 80 inch engine. Very collectible.
