1981 Honda CB650C (Custom). This motorcycle is an air cooled, chain-driven, five-speed standard road bike produced by Honda from 1979 to 1985. 
History:This bike was ridden regularly until 2001 when the previous owner took it to his brother's farm and stored it in his barn. This is one-owner bike before me. was told (by his brother) that it was running when he put it away in the barn. dug it out few weeks ago. It has not been out of the barn or started or ran for 18 years; it does not run now. The engine is not seized but it is not in running condition. This bike will need EVERYTHING done to it before it is back on the road. Know that going in. This bike is complete and has good bones but will need complete restoration to be rider.
Mechanical:The engine is not seized but do not know its condition. It is complete along with the factory exhaust system. The gears engage and disengage easily as they should. All of the mechanical systems on the bike are present and seem to be as they should if they were working. The front brakes are dual-disc and the calipers master cylinder will need to be restored. The rear brake and chain work properly.
Electrical:There is no battery in the bike. hooked battery to it and all of the gauges and lights lit up properly. The wiring harness has not been messed with or modified.
Paint Chrome:The paint is fair (tank and side covers) with fading and scratches here and there but the tank has almost no dents and all the body panels and shrouds are present with proper Honda emblems. (The right side cover is missing.) The chrome is good with minor discoloration and rust. The Vetter fairing is custom paint matched to the bike and the windshield is in fair-good condition with only minor scratches. 
Tires:The tubeless tires are toast. They look good but they are too old to ride on. The Comstar wheels are straight and true.
Misc.:The upholstery on the seat is original but in poor condition. There is key for the ignition. The exhaust system is OEM factory 4-into-4 which was standard on this Custom model bike.
Legal:The bike is sold with NO Warranty. I've told you everything can think that know about it. have clear and current title in the name of the previous owner. It will transfer immediately in all 50 states. You will receive that title signed along with Bill of Sale from me.
Payment Pickup:Payment is due within five (5) working days. That easily gives you enough time to get payment in the mail to me. only accept two types of payment; Cashier's Check (drawn on major U.S. bank) or USPS Money Order (no other off-brands.) want the bike picked up within ten (10) days of the close of the auction. If you contract with shipper will cooperate in every way and help load. If you pick it up yourself will help you load it. (If you pick it up yourself within the five days and want to pay in cash, that is acceptable also.)
Questions:I will answer any and all questions you have about the bike to the best of my ability. If you are high bidder when the auction ends you are obligated to complete the purchase and pickup.
