Really strong Night Train, loaded with dealer installed Screaming Eagle and Harley aftermarket parts. The front wheel and fender are the same size as on Fat Boy, the rear fender follows the rear wheel unlike the Soft Tail type fender they come stock with, side mounted license plate with turn signal, brake light, and tail light In one unit. The right side rear turn signal and brake light are in the same bullet housing. The other aftermarket items are the seat, foot controls, mirrors, horn cover, air filter cover, and grips. Performance mods are the Screaming Eagle clutch, ignition, coils, cam, tach, and K&N air filter. The stance of the bike has been altered by slamming the rear shock. It looks like it's about to pounce. This was the last year for carburation instead of fuel injection so you actually have pet cock that you can use to run the fuel system dry for winter storage. Run it till it stalls, plug in the battery tender, and you're good to go. Start up in the Spring is as simple as opening the pet cock, pulling out the choke, and thumbing the starter button. Carbs that are properly set up outperform fuel injection every time. This bike idles perfectly, never backfires or pops when backing down, and though the cam is on the easy to live with mild side, it pulls stronger than stock through the gears. That famous twin cylinder music is piped through slash cuts with removable baffles. It's loud enough to please any Harley guy without pissing off the neighbors. The tires, sealed battery and brakes are good to go with most of their life ahead of them, in fact the Odessy battery is only month old. The tank paint is perfect but the fenders have few nicks. All in all its well sorted out dependable ride wouldn't hesitate to jump on and ride across the country.
