This motorcycle was going to be father-son project. My dad owned 1969 FLH when he was younger, sold it when was born, and always wanted another.I decided to make it happen. in the surrounding states this is the bike that found.Came to me with rebuilt motor, no chipped fins on heads or cylinders, but the transmission had couple of issues, so the transmission was removed and professionally rebuilt. It is ratchet top transmission, and features both electric and kick start.A month after bike was obtained, my dad passed away suddenly.The bike was not touched since. And to this day, every time see it, regret not saying what should have been said.The motorcycle has now sat for years.A new belt drive was installed after the transmission, as well as new clutch. New final drive chain.Cycle electric voltage regulator, S&S cycle oil pump, S&S super carb that has backyard adaptor made for the air cleaner that now sits on it.Title says bike was built in 2003.It's in an aftermarket frame, that has been slightly raked and the neck has been 'window paned' and an aftermarket wide glide front end, hawg halter front caliper.Has Mustang up seat, later shovelhead rear swing arm with disc brakes.I started the bike when it was put back together, and that was the last time it was ran. The starter actuator may be failing, or the battery was too low to roll it over so kicked it, on about the 8th kick it fired up.The paint as you can see is awful, unless you like poorly airbrushed fairies on your gas tank. Looks like bondo showing on the rear fender. It comes with clean Ohio title. I am not vintage motorcycle expert by any means, you know way more about them than do. I'll leave the expertise up to you.I have had it for trade locally, and have had many interesting offers, to this point either fell through because schedules, didn't want theirs or they didn't want mine.It is still for trade locally and may pull the ad at anytime if make local deal.Sold as is obviously.I am interested in Harley Evolution FXR motorcycles, if you have one to trade.I've seen guys asking more for their motors with bill of sale on here and craigslist than my starting price.I may end auction at any time since it is on other sites.
