Up for No Reserve Auction is vintage Bultaco Alpina 250cc Trail bike project. Matching frame and engine numbers. This bike has been sitting in dry storage in shed for over 30 years. The bike is obviously incomplete, but would make great start for vintage trail bike project.

In 1971, Bultaco built the Alpina 250 with the trials and enduro rider in mind. It was designed as successor to the earlier Sherpa and used the same basic frame. Rated to top speed of 72-75 MPH, the Alpina was not quick bike, but the 52.3-inch wheelbase, 11-inch ground clearance and 7-inch telescoping front fork travel made it ideal for off-road obstacle courses and rocky terrain. The 250cc Alpina engine produced 20hp at 5,500 RPM. It has five-speed transmission. The bike was very nimble. The Alpina 250 was only offered from 1971-'74.

This bike has had the shed dust washed off, and is presented as collected. The pictures form the description. What you see is what you get. The engine turns over with compression.
