1967 RS SS CamaroI??™m representing this Camaro for aclose friend; all correspondence will be forwarded to him and either he will contactyou directly or email you to answer any and all questions.Doug has owned this Camaro sincehigh school, he??™s now 53 and it??™s time to pass it on as it??™s become garagequeen. This vehicle is rust free and hasn't seen rain in 20 years.Documentation is everything withthese vehicles, if you look at the picture from Chevrolet Canada, the serialnumbers all match. This is genuine RS-SS speed Camaro. Non-matchingnumbers motor unfortunately, that is long gone, but the original hump heads will go with the vehicle.The motor in this Camaro is dressed to original appearance of the 350, using the original air cleaner, valve covers, intake and exhaust manifolds, even the original brackets were reused. OEM style distributor with Pertronics and rebuilt carb were installed on the motor. The block is 400 CID SBC engine and the heads have hardened valve seats for today??™s fuel. The motor was completely rebuilt and now has 300 miles on it. The original style cam was installed to keep that distinctive exhaust sound.The Camaro was restored back in 2004, rather than patching the small rust holes, full rear GM factory quarter panels were used, the same goes for the front fenders. The trunk floor was also replaced at the same time. It retains it's original rust free floors, these were never replaced or patched.Browse down this list of items either rebuilt, or replaced, it shows pride of ownership and countless hours.
REBUILT:- M20 transmission rebuilt withhardened 3rd gear.- Rear end rebuilt with GMclutches, bearings and new axles.- Front end completely rebuilt.- Front piston calipersre-machined with bronze liners.- Optional remote mirrorre-chromed.- Original 14x6 wheels powdercoated in rally color. NEW: Restoration 2004-GM Front fenders and FULLrear quarters, only the best, no patch repairs. -GM Trunk floor, again not justpatched.-GM Wheel beauty rings and discbrake center caps.-GM Heavy-duty clutch kit, clutchfork, flywheel.-GM Exterior emblems (SS350, Camaro,SS ).-GM Headlight door motors andswitches.-GM Trunk mat, tire cover, jack andwrench.-GM Hood louvers.-Front seats recovered 15 years ago.-Rear window package tray.-Gas tank, straps, sender and fuelpump.-All brake components, mastercylinder, all lines, cables, slave cylinders, shoes, pads.-New Drive shaft.-Vinyl top.-Heater core.-Rear leaf spring bushings.-Factory correct 2" exhaust system, using mufflers and an Hpipe added.-14" radial tires. Original parts:-All options-14" rally wheels-Rear seats all interior vinyl,headliner, visors, dash.-Bumpers.-Grill.-Exterior chrome and Rally Sporttrim.
Miscellaneous:  -A Mr. Gasket Shifter from the 1970s.-Front clip bushings not replaced,still drives very, very tight.-The only body filler in the car isa slight amount in the new left front fender form minor parking lot dent beforepainting in 2004. -New paint in approx. 2004, inErmine white as per trim tag.
