The 750 Nighthawk is 463-pound standard-style motorcycle powered by bulletproof, air-cooled, 747cc, inline 4-cylinder engine.
The 750 Nighthawk is an ideal commuter/everyday bike for large number of riders. Her full-size chassis (59.3-inch wheelbase), long dual seat (30.9 inches high) and upright ergonomics make her comfortable for both rider and passenger. With 75 hp (at 8500 rpm), she has plenty of oomph.
I bought her as secondary bike last summer from friend who was desperate to sell because he was moving overseas. The bike was pretty neglected -- so started taking her apart and fixing her up.
I rebuilt 1) the front fork, 2) the carburetors, and3) the front brake.
I replaced1) all four turn signals (OEM), 2) valve cover gasket (OEM), 3) spark plugs (with high performance plugs), 4) air filter (with higher quality, lifetime warranty K&N filter),5) engine oil and filter.
I removed all the rust from the headlight bucket and the headers/muffler, and covered some parts with protective, high-heat paint. also de-rusted and re-galvanized bunch of bolts and nuts.
The chain and sprockets, as well as the tires have plenty of life left in them.
I really enjoyed giving the Nighthawk make-over but am just not into riding her (my primary bike is Honda CB600F). rode her for less than 200 miles since bought her. She has been sitting in cozy barn in Maryland all winter, and is now looking for new home.
The bike shows little bit of wear in few places but doesn't have any dents or big scratches. The left fiberglass side panel has 3-inch tear that fixed it was most likely caused by previous owner removing the panel carelessly. All the chrome parts are super-shiny (check out the photos). The engine is indestructible and won't need any maintenance (except the occasional oil change) for looooong time.
Email me if you're interested, you're welcome to test-ride the bike. Please include your phone number in your email.
