bought this Indian as repossession.  It was never crashed or dropped.  California required Salvage title.  performed complete rebuild and custom paint job. Then drove it about 10,000 miles when bought one of the last factory 2003/2004 crate engines that were sent to dealers to replace the early flawed PowerPlus-100 engines and installed it about years ago.  This engine had all of the original factory flaws corrected at the Gilroy factory before its demise so there is no worry on that account.  have since driven only about 1600 miles on the new engine.  It performs flawlessly.
It now needs clutch adjustment or replacement but otherwise is in very good mechanical condition.
The Chief is being sold "as-is" with no warranty.
