Subaru Legacy 2.5 AWD Estate AutoSelling my Legacy as it's becoming too hard to get out of it due to spinal condition. I've had the car for years and it's been great, usually needs bulb or wiper for the MOT apart from usual maintenance of brakes and exhaust. had the power steering pump replaced when first got the car but it hasn't really needed anything else.This is fantastic car, it's seen me through lots of bad weather/snow and ice. The air con' is great in summer and it's good for moving bit's of furniture and for carrying dogs about. Nice for long distance comfort wise and very economical on long run. I'll be sad to see it go but need higher car. The auto box is phenomenal and smooth as new, engine also lovely and quiet and the cam belt was changed at 118,000 think but will check that and confirm.
Naturally, at this age the car has it's issues. The bodywork has few little dings and the corners of the bumpers area little scratched but it's not rusty and the chassis is good according to my garage.
The suspension has been changed from pneumatic to shocks at the front as there was an air leak that no one seemed able to locate but has run like this for years and is fine and passed MOT's without issue, occasionally the warning lights come on about this but it has never caused any running problems or been any issue, had the engine knock sensor replaced on one garages advice but it still happens general consensus is it's because of the different suspension. There is small oil leak but nothing major and the steering rack also has small leak have put an additive in to deal with this.
