now very rare early Suzuki B120P with the chrome tank, also known as the B100P or Bloop and later as the B120 Student. This bike has been subject to restoration at some point and is in lovely condition. It was registered in 1993 so probably off the road before 1976 when the records were computerised. have had this bike for several years, bought in this condition and left at the back of the garage unused. It is sold as non runner, although the engine turns and the gears engage and is in need of recommissioning. The speedo is showing 17495 miles which really is nothing for these bikes. Not barn find of course, more back of the garage retrieval!
Bodily it has been fully resprayed to good, amateur standard and looks to have been unused since, the paint is still in good order throughout. The chrome is generally very good, there is slight rusting to the handlebar and more patina rather than neglect. The wheels are in excellent order and are shod with quality tyres, Avon Speedmaster on the front, Pirelli to the rear. The exhaust is in very good condition although not original, there is an original exhaust with the bike, The tail light is Yamaha item but again later Suzuki item comes with the bike. The seat is in very good condition and is as original. The tank is lovely, there is slight patina to the chrome, the knee grips are in place and it is nicely pinstriped. There is fuel residue inside the tank and the inside will need cleaning out. It is not fitted with indicators and the toggle switch has been removed. The front mudguard seems to be pattern item, looks okay and is acceptable but the chrome is not the best.
Mechanically it has sat unused for several years, it will need work, possibly not lot, to get going. The engine turns easily on the kickstart, the gears engage. There is fin broken on the head as per the photos. The bike rolls nicely, the tyres are inflated and the cables are free. The brakes work well at walking pace. have never heard the bike run but have no doubt it will, having passed my test on one of these in 1981 and used it for years after know how robust they are!
Please have good look at the photos as they form crucial part of the description, please ask if there is something you need to see, please come and view if you can.
This bike is garaged in Kennington, London SE5 and viewing is encouraged. It comes with key, V5, Haynes Manual and the original owners manual. It is being sold strictly as seen for recommissioning. You cannot ride this away so you will need to transport this by van or trailer. If you need quote please ask. Payment in cash and collection within week of the auction end please. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
