have reluctantly decided to sell my Honda CR250M Elsinore Motocross bike. have had this bike for couple of years now and have thoroughly enjoyed the (limited) time have spent riding but unfortunately the time has come to muster up deposit for house! These bikes are about as cool as cool gets the legend Steve McQueen raced one back in the '70s and when got the chance to buy one, couldn't help myself so am very gutted to see it go! The bike starts and runs well and is running on Mikuni carb (the carb has literally just been taken apart cleaned and fitted new air filter element) and runs strong... it has started to smoke bit more than usual and was advised that it could potentially be crank seal. The bike comes with the original side panels and front mudguard (see floor in pic) and has complete reproduction panels all round on the bike. As you can see from the pics, the bike is not in mint condition and has been well used there are the usual dents in the tank that you would expect to see on these bikes etc. The tyres are both good with good tread. It is also worth noting that the original engine is not with the bike and it currently has an engine from MT250 (the road version of this bike), which was common place back in the '70s when they blew the original engines desert racing these bikes!These bikes are very hard to come by now and do not come up for sale very often but if they do are usually priced very high.
