2001 Kawasaki ER5 for sale, please read FULL description and message me with any further questions, arrange viewings, additional photos etc.
- Mechanically sound.- Cosmetics aren't perfect, it's used all year round and stored outside.- MOT until 20th August 2020 (see photos for current certificate details).- Serviced in September 2019, new oil January 2020. Can do another service before sale if price is right.- New front tyre since current MOT, roughly 1500 2000 miles ago, plenty of tread.- New rear tyre roughly 5000 miles ago, plenty of tread.- Swingarm could do with respray/powder coating to treat the current rust (no holes or anything just surface at the minute)- Rev counter needle doesn't work due to previous Reg/Rec failure, you can buy the repair kits online fairly cheap, have just never seen use to repairing it myself.- Hole in the exhaust, usual place at the into pipe. Has been repaired using exhaust bandage and tape, but ideally needs new down pipes.- Aftermarket mirrors and rear suspension- New chain and rear sprocket roughly 3000 miles ago, have front sprocket ready to go on that will come with the bike.- Oxford heated grips fitted, not plugged in so not sure if they work or not. They worked when got the bike, but have been unplugged since.- Reg/Rec cables have been extended and moved to behind the rear plastics opposite side to the coolant).- Bike overall could do with deep clean (I can arrange this but would want little more than asking price as would get it done professionally with corrosion and paint treatment).
Open to sensible offers, the bike is ridden all year round and stored outside (under cover) so as above it isn't in great cosmetic condition, but is mechanically sound. If you would rather make an offer than bid, please do as will consider SENSIBLE offers and end the auction early if the right offer is made.
I WOULD recommend coming to view the bike before purchasing to ensure you are happy with the condition etc, am NOT going to give refunds for blind purchasing it is sold as seen.  will also not accept lower offer on collection than the winning bid.
I am happy to provide more photos and information if requested.
NO test rides unless the full asking price is in my hand first, NO time wasters.
I can deliver if it isn't too far away and the price is right, otherwise it is collection only arrange by the buyer. (Additional fee may be requested if delivery is wanted so please ask before expecting me to deliver).
Receipt will be provided on collection, along with the logbook which will transfer online and show proof that it has been done.
Selling due to doing my Progressive Access test and wanting bigger bike.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
A deposit MUST be paid within 48 hours of the winning bid so can make sure my time isn't being wasted. Failure to pay deposit within 48 hours will result report being made to eBay and the item re-listed. Remaining balance can be paid on collection/delivery.
