1967 BSA C15 SS80. Rebuilt around 2015 in bobber/green laner style. This bike looks great in it's bright red paint and custom black seat. It has had very little use since the work was carried out.
Ready to use and be enjoyed in time for the spring show season.
The bike I'm told was rebuilt by an Engineer and includes conversion to 12v, full engine rebuild (big end, mains etc.), new tyres and tubes, new wheel bearings and seals, mudguards, brake shoes, levers and cables, recon speedo, new battery and wiring loom. It also had new sprockets and chain.
New stainless fastenings.
Rides really well and feels as if it has been well-put together. Engine pulls strongly and sounds nice with its non-standard exhaust. The gears all select nicely and found it easy to get used to the right hand gear lever. I'm not aware of any oil leaks which again suggests decent rebuild.
Large history file including receipts for the parts bought for the rebuild. V5 is in my name. Currently on SORN, but it is tax and MOT exempt.
I have all the original tinware that came with it when bought it, so if you wanted to, it could be put it back to its original condition.
I'm running out of room in my small garage and recently bought Royal Enfield Interceptor, so I've decided to sell the BSA.
