Here we have for sale, i'm told bit of rare bike, genuine BSA SS90 thats been expertly modified into competition trials bike.I don't know much of the history sadly but do have the original buff log book which shows it started out as SS90 but then the engine was swapped for C15 250 however it now has B40 350 engine back in it. I do have the modern V5 here in my name so its fully road legal and due to the age is tax and mot exempt as its classed as historic vehicle.Like say don't know much of the history of the bike sadly but can tell you that's it's got Norton long road holder forks on, talon back sprocket, competition shocks, braced headstock, aluminium tank and if you look at the pics, as these form part of the description, you'll no doubt see lots more. I can't tell you what its got inside the engine as it runs really sweet so there's been no need to strip it but it does have reverse gearbox so its one down and the rest up. After standing for few days have noticed an oil drip from the engine, nothing major but just wanted to point this out.It has electronic digital batteryless ignition.The carb has been stripped and cleaned, no its not the original carb but is common upgrade for better performance etc.The bike for what it is, bike that's been used for trials riding and is 55 years old think is in amazing condition, yes it has bumps and bruises which is to be expected but it's an honest bike and doesn't hide anything.If you'd like to see the bike before bidding please do, any questions please ask.Due to the age of the bike and what it is there is no warranty offered or implied. The bike is what it is, originally rare SS90 thats been modified over the years into what it is today, pre 65 trials bike that's fit for competition or just having fun on.I have rode it on numerous occasions and it does feel really fit. I'm no trials rider hence it now being for sale rather than me cutting it up to make bobber from it haha..A small deposit will be required at the end of the auction via paypal, the rest to be paid via bank transfer or cash when the bike is delivered or picked up.
