This very much sought after Circa 1985 Yamaha RZ250R YPVS Power valve has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life. This and the fact it's only showing 9150 Km and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

The single most important purchase for classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be commercial venture or just hobby interest it all starts here!.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike is complete very original. It has obviously stood while so the battery is nearly flat, some of the alloy is starting to oxidise losing its finnish/paint.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 32 years ago it is every bit as solid as it looks here.

The wheels are straight with good discs, calipers working master cylinders. Forks yokes look straight but chrome is pitted. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight hangers. Instruments switches look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor dents/marks scratches in the original paint. Exhausts are original solid. Indicators are tidy. The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great has compression – within few prods it was up running.
