Here's very unusual opportunity to buy very unusual bike! bought this 500SL years ago. It had been stored for 10 years but it had (I thought) been painted in non-standard colour Pearlescent White! My view was that the Pantah would become the next collectable Ducati post bevel drive. planned on full rebuild and paint to standard colour for the year. That was years ago and simply have no time, now or in the near future.
Imagine my surprise then to find that the colour is probably genuine and VERY unusual. On close inspection, there's absolutely no sign of over-spray that would suggest repaint.
The general condition of this bike is terrific with just some surface rust on things like the instrument housings, chain guard and rear indicator stalks (anything matt black really!). The tyres are rock hard (obviously after 15 years in storage) and it needs fully recommissioning.
If this doesn't sell shall fit new timing belts, plugs filters etc. and do all necessary work for an MOT when the price will be lot higher!
