1981 Yamaha RD350LC 4LO Ex German market, uk spec, matching numbers, an extensive but sympathetic restoration. Engine rebuilt by top uk stroke tuner. have done about 800 miles last year on the fresh engine between lockdowns, so its had good shakedown. Was riding it up until November when the fuel was drained and the bike put indoors. The mot expired last week, there is nothing it would fail on. The standard exhausts are actually meant for the 250 and do chop the revs off slightly but its very rideable and torquey for an lc. Its never bothered me and helps give it the feeling of dependability it seems to have, which is more than can say about my modern bikes. The pipes could do with paint but are otherwise sound. Avon tyres, speedo undereads (I use sat nav), but the Milometer is spot on. Front brake bit wooden but improving with miles, sorted bike and ready to use. It does come with the original mirrors and bulk supply of stroke oil. Apart from the pipes and Kenny Roberts paint it is standard and correct. Will be soon looking to book bike in for mot, the new owner can then ride it away. No test rides but with an mot in place have no objections to giving pillion ride. Am sourcing the 4LO exhausts which was going to do in any case if was keeping the bike. With insurance at £100 year and an imminent easing of lockdown may see mileage go up.
