Highlyoptioned showstopping 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. Thisbreathtaking Candy Apple Red Mustang came from the factory with the351-2v Windsor V-8 the largest most powerful small block V-8 offeredby Ford in 1969. According to Kevin Marti, only1681 1969 convertiblescame with this engine transmission combo. When one ordered the 351WV-8 that got you the FMX Cruise-O-Matic transmission (heavier andstronger than the C-4, yet lighter and smaller than the C-6, whichcame in the big-block cars). The 351W V-8 also got you the now famousFord 9” rear axle (extremely heavy duty high strength axle, usedmost commonly with big-block engine cars. The engine, transmission, and rear axle are believed to be the originals. The engine wasrebuilt to stock original condition and runs great. It sounds verystrong and has the perfect sounding, not too loud, not too quiet dualexhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The entire drive train is factorystock as delivered from the factory in 1969. The car is equipped withfactory original Air Conditioning and power-operated top whichworks fine at the touch of the dash mounted power switch. This beautyhas been owned by two different dedicated Mustang lovers since 1985.It has been slowly and carefully redone over the last 30 years. Finally completed, it is available for purchase. This one will behard to match.OriginallyBlack Jade in color with white top, this 1969 Mustang has undergonea complete repaint in 1969 Ford Candy Apple Red, color offered byFord in 1969. The power-operated convertible top is black in color, which matches very nicely with the black GT stripe and black out GThood treatment complete with hood scoop with working turn signallights. The rear of the car features GT gas cap and GT dual exhausttips exiting GT dual exhaust valance panel. The car rides on brandnew 15 Magnum 500 wheels with brand new BF Goodrich T/A radialssized 245/60 and 225/60Theinterior, originally standard black, has been replaced with brandnew black full Deluxe Interior as originally available.
