Fresh out of barn in Connecticut; it still had the original tires on it when got it. This bike has been gone thru to make it reliable rider. With the exception of the items listed below, it's all original and untouched. My goal wasn't to make it show queen but rather good running and riding bike that still looks old. wanted my wife to learn to ride on something with soul, and now you can do the same. It's great around town bike; have ridden it on an 80 mile round trip on the expressway/parkways, but it's test of endurance for both you and the bike to maintain 60-70 MPH.
Work that has been done:
New Tires/Tubes/Rim Strips Front and Rear (Shinko SR241 in stock sizes)New gold chain and JT Steel SprocketsAll new cables; brake, throttle, speedometer and tachometerNew tail light lens and screws (OEM Honda)New Vans GripsCleaned carburetors and re-assembled, new Tygon fuel linesNew internals in original petcock housing (OEM Honda)Drilled and tapped manifolds to install vacuum ports. This allowed me to sync the carburetors properly.New points, condenser and spark plugsReplaced tachometer drive oil sealNew batteryNew gas cap (OEM Honda)Again, you can jump on this bike and ride as long as you want, but it is not showpiece nor should you expect such. There are lots of scratches, light pitting on the chrome fenders and shocks, etc. The rims themselves are in great shape. The tank has several small dings in it. It's an affordable piece of motorcycling history. It rides smooth down the road; even at full throttle screaming to maintain 65 MPH you can ride with one hand on the bars. The stock exhaust is untouched and in excellent shape, no rust or pinholes on the bottom at all. The packing inside burnt out long ago, but every single person that hears it says they love the sound. All lights and horn work as they should, it just passed NY state inspection.
BIKE IS SOLD WITH VERMONT TRANSFERRABLE REGISTRATION AND BILL OF SALE. This is the same as title, and if your state issues titles for motorcycles this old/small you'll be able to get one.
