This is used 1975 XL350 K1. It idles well, has mid-range bog (3-4k RPM), and has strong top end. Just did full top-end rebuild with new slightly oversize piston. have done lot of work on this bike and have put around $1700 worth of parts in. have all of the necessary electronics, but haven't had time to install most of them. The core of this motorcycle is in great shape, but the cosmetics could use some help. Unknown actual mileage because the bike did not have an odometer when got it. I do not yet have the title, but do have valid registration in the state of Vermont and verification on VIN check that the bike is not stolen and has no liens (if you would like to see this paperwork feel free to message me).
Has (less than 40 miles on all recent engine work) :Has very recent top-end job.New 0.04 oversize piston and piston rings installed (cylinder was vapor honed and bored out).New valve stem seals installed.New head and base gaskets installed.Just cleaned out the oil filter rotor and have extra new side cover gaskets and head gaskets. New 6V 8.5Ah battery installed.Brand new ignition points installedExtra working 6V ignition coil.Brake light, turn signals, head light, and gauges all work. Brand new throttle, front brake, and clutch cables (clutch cable insulation has been melted bit from accidental head contact) installed.Brand new Kenda K270 tires front and rear installed.Brand new fuel petcock and inline fuel filter installed.Brand new Keyster carb rebuild kit installed.Brand new Keihin main and idle jets installed. have three smaller mains and two smaller idle jets.Brand new air cut off valve installedBrand new UNI air filter installed.Brand new gas tank cap and mounting rubbers.Valve clearances are good and ignition timing set statically to full advance.Left switch off of CB550K.
Needs:Need bulbs for of the turn signals and one of the gauge lights.Grips.Gas tank probably should be cleaned out, has rust.Footpegs could be matched better. Previous owner mismatched the pegs.New chain, rear sprocket.
