1991 Moto Guzzi V65 Florida 650cc
Approx 28000mi May go up slightly as use it.
11 months MOT remainingFew small issues, but solid road legal, fully rideable project.
There's not many of these around, in fact think Guzzi only made 6000ish? before dropping in 750, changing few design features and re-releasing it as the 'Nevada'.
This is lovely bike to ride, The v-twin has lot of torque, giving decent acceleration in every gear. The low weight low seat height makes this very easy to ride. Very agile at low speeds, but still stable at motorway speeds.The screen. What can say? Its original, its huge, And it blocks ton of wind, making for quite relaxing ride.And its shaft drive is convenient, low maintenance, and very smooth.
When bought this in 2018, it had list of problems longer than my arm, from dangerous wiring, fuel&oil leaks, to its driveshaft U-Joint, which had rusted exploded destroying the swingarm gearbox! The previous owner obviously didn't maintain it at all..

Since buying it, I've fitted the following:Used Drive shaftUsed SwingarmUsed Gearbox (With New input/output seals, New swingarm bearings)Used  Air boxNEW Fuel Oil hosesNEW Carb to engine inlet rubbersNEW All throttle cablesNew Carb main jetsNew Carb top&bottom gasketsNew Clutch cableNew Front Rear tyres. Continental ContiGo with new tubes)New stainless bolts/studs/nuts just about everywhereUsed All handlebar switch gear (Inc throttle tube/choke lever, mirror adaptors)*Used Front master cyl lever*Used clutch lever&perch*(*From Suzuki GS500. The original Magura ones were beyond repair, the Suzuki ones suit the look of the bike. All original parts included)

I've also repaired:F&R brake master cylinder rebuild kitsLH cylinder head base gasket replacedDrilled out broken studs on LH headFixed, rewired lot of dodgy wiringWired in new kill/start-relay circuitRepaired leaking Rocker cover breather pipesRepaired the leaky Fork-air-hose

..And carried out Full service:All oils replacedAll filters replacedNew Spark plugsNew drain plug crush washersBrake fluid flush bleed, front rearTappets adjustedCables checked, lubed/adjustedAll pivots lubed&adjustedTyre pressures setFork oil replacedCarbs reset to oem settings

After that marathon of repairs, it passed an MOT with advisories. Yes, 0.
Since then have ridden it nearly 400mi, with no problems.
Of course its not perfect, these things still need sorting:Paint is blistering off both side panelsThe seat is ripped both sidesN. Light does not workSlight g.box oil weepDipstick o-ring needs replacing as it can weep slightly if not tight
